Chia Egg

This is a super simple swap when a recipe calls for eggs.

If you have an allergy or are following a vegan or plant-based diet, then this easy substitute can replace an egg in recipes where they are used for binding.

Packed with nutrients, 1 tablespoon of chia seeds provide 4g fibre and 2g protein.

Ingredients      

1 tbsp chia seeds

2.5 tbsp water

Method

Mix chia seeds and water and leave to stand for 5 minutes before adding to your recipe.
